Hollie has worked in Veterinary Medicine since 2002. She started working part time after school as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2004, she was introduced into managing a small practice while pursuing her Biology Degree at ETSU. In 2008, she joined Andes-Straley Veterinary Hospital and in 2010, Hollie took on the role of practice manager of both Andes-Straley and Church Hill Vet. She is currently working towards her Certified Veterinary Practice Management license, LVT and Business degree. Hollie has a passion for bully breeds, birds, and exotic medicine. She operates East TN Avian Sky, East Tennessee Wildlife Rehabilitation and East TN Veterinary Managers Group. Hollie has several pets at her home in Blountville which include: 4 cats, 4 dogs, 12 birds, 2 bearded dragons, 12 chickens, a miniature pony, a horse, a chinchilla and a fresh water aquarium. She enjoys reading, cheerleading, swimming and spending time with her daughter.
Chrystal moved from the Outer Banks, NC to Kingsport in 2011. She has been working in the veterinary field for 12 years; Chrystal says she knew early in life that this is what she was meant to do. She lives with her husband Rich and together they have two dogs; Albert & Dante, three cats; Acacia, Athena & Bobby, and two birds; Butch and Sundance. In her spare time Chrystal enjoys reading, camping and spending time with her family.
Veterinary Assistant Team Leader
Katrina has worked as a Veterinary Technician since 1999. She initially worked part time while attending Northeast State Community College, where she completed her degree in Drafting Design Technology .After graduation, her employment in the Veterinary field became full time. She has worked at Church Hill Vet Hospital since September 2013. She really enjoys taking care of pets and helping to ensure their needs are met. Katrina and her boyfriend have one dog, a boxer named Java. Although they only have one pet now, they previously had several Rottweilers over the last several years. She enjoys the luxury of being able to bring Java to work with her when she can. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, reading, vacations, spending time with Java, and visiting with close friends and family.
Destiny lives in Church Hill with a lot of pets whom she considers family. She was raised from a young age with a variety of animals and has come to love them as the wonderful companions they are. Currently in her home are cats, dogs, turtles, fish, a ball python named Nightfall and a bearded dragon named Draco. She has a love for reptiles.
Corey moved to East Tennessee from Northern Virginia in 2000. She started working at Andes-Straley Veterinary Hospital in July of 2012 after spending several years in television. Animals have always been a passion for Corey, so she knew that she would end up working with them. Corey has 1 dog and 2 cats at home, plus a freshwater fish tank and an albino king snake. Corey is a big sports fan; loves horse racing and especially the Washington Redskins. During the summer she can be found fishing, kayaking, or hiking with her dog.
Kaley is a 2016 graduate of Volunteer High School and is currently enrolled at Northeast State Community College. She lives on a small farm in Church Hill and enjoys taking care of cows and riding her horse. She has always had a passion for helping animals and plans to continue her schooling to become a Veterinarian. If she isn't on the farm with her animals, she is on the river kayaking and fishing or spending time with her friends and family.
